Liquid I.V.'s Hydration Multiplier is a great-tasting, non-GMO electrolyte powder drink mix powered by Cellular Transport Technology (CTT) designed to enhance rapid absorption of water and other key ingredients into the bloodstream.
How it Works
Typically, when you drink fluids, they pass through the entire digestive system, losing water before your body can absorb it. I like this product, but my body seems to be still getting used to it... or maybe I’m just getting used to the effects of it. When I drink it, it makes me feel like I’m retaining water. Maybe that’s the point though.The lemon-lime flavor isn’t bad at all. It tastes very similar to original Gatorade. Yes, there is saltiness. Yes, it does have sugar. The manufacturer explains why those are essential, so I wasn’t surprised.For me, I’m chronically dehydrated all the time because the things I drink run right through me. When I drink this, I seem to hang on to all the fluid that day. I’m not sure yet if that’s because the sodium just makes me retain water or what. It’s sort of an uncomfortable feeling that I typically try to avoid, so I’m not quite sure what to think about that yet.I will say that I usually cannot drink alcohol because it further dehydrates me to the point where I have heart palpitations and cannot sleep. After having some wine with this product in my system, this was no longer an issue.I have also gotten up in the mornings and can physically tell that the skin on my face is more hydrated.Overall, I definitely have more positives than negatives to say about this product so far. It’s going to take more time for me to keep trying this product to fully determine whether or not it’s for me.
