I don't usually buy pods with less than .40oz each, but the reviews and the sale price made me decide to try it. These pods produce a nice flavorful cup of coffee thanks to the Espresso Roast, but only when brewing a medium setting, as it's too weak for me for a large mug. I end up having to brew 3 smaller cups instead of my 2 large mugs in order to get my usual morning "fix". I'll stick to my usual pods in the future.
I had bought a bag of this years ago when it was on sale at the grocery store, just to use in my drip coffeemaker, and I remembered it tasted pretty darn good back then. My friend has a Keurig and we were shopping for her favorite, which is Italian Roast, I saw this and ordered it on a whim. Lordy, lordy, it is sooo good. I usually have two cups in the morning, I also made a cup of this at night because I just couldn't wait til morning to taste it again! Highly recommended! This might be the straw that inspires me to finally get a Keurig!
The media could not be loaded. I like cold coffee - I know, no comments please. Anyway - I use these K-cups in our coffee maker and using a 12 oz. size cup, I make one 10 oz. cup with each pod. I also use 3-other brands of dark coffee and pour the contents of all three into a glass vase, a large cup and fill an ice-cube tray (which I also use in my cup in the morning) with the mixture/blend too refrigerating it overnight. I love the blend of the four, I truly experimented until I found the mixture I like the best. After refrigerating all night and adding the frozen coffee cubes, I will dink approximately 20 oz. of the mixture/blend each morning while reading the paper. I then top off the vase with which ever K-cup brand I choose. I keep rotating each day. You will see in the photos the type of cup and vase, & ice tray I use. I truly enjoy this mixture/blend.
