Solid grinder…make sure to clean it occasionally or it will eventually jam!
I have had two of these over the past four years. The grinder is very good and consistent. No complaints there at all. However, both eventually failed within 1-2 years. The timer will either fail completely like my first one did, or it will be intermittent and require you to press the button a dozen times to complete a two cup grind.I measure my beans before I grind, so I don't really need a timer. A timer is only needed if you leave the hopper full of beans all the time. Storing your beans in a sealed container seems like a much better way to handle your coffee, before you grind.I wish they would just make these without a timer and one push of the button for on, and one push for off. They might last a lot longer if they did that. Otherwise, this is a great coffee grinder.
I think this product is very nice. It's so much better than my last blade grinder. Set-up is easy and if you read the instructions and the lid you will have no issues. I would recommend this product.

This company makes good products! This burr grinder works great. I wish the cover of the jar snapped on firmer, but otherwise it works fine.
